I am looking forward to learning what the updates are. Hopefully, they will extend the dates of the promotion.

I believe it is way too late to book with the dedicated promo code now; the deadline for booking with the code was 17 May 2020. What is being discussed here is rebooking of tickets already booked - not new bookings being made from scratch with a booking code.
Sorry, but you are very late for the party...(but welcome to FT!).
EDIT: I stand corrected. I didn't realise that the ultimate date for actually making the booking/ticketing was this late. Sorry

It is not to late according to the Terms and Conditions, you have till the 28th of November.
But I was looking with my code this week for options and I also did not see any availability. I would advise you to keep looking and try different dates. On the computer you can look up a flight and then look at the rates for approx. 21 days around you scheduled date. That way you can easily see which dates are low priced. You will also need to play with the right combination of return and departure date.

Anyone tried to change the tickets lately?
I have changed my tickets once like 2 months ago. Worked fine then.
Not anymore, since QR have change the ticket types. The old "Economy flex" + W bucket isn't available anymore so you can't find a single destination or date with the free ticket prices.
I'm ticketed to Australia but since it most likely will be closed in February I need to find a new destination.

I suspect it is related to the change of ticket types. There is nothing called Economy full flex anymore.
W is not by itself full flex. But the free medic tickets booked into W + full flex.

W fare class is not sold for all routings as W fares are not coded for some routes.
If you have an Expertflyer membership, you could check if your desired flights have "W" fare class availability.

Just returning back from a trip to the Maldives. It was quite difficult finding availability and then things got even more difficult when they cancelled my flight out of Atlanta. I was able to rebook a flight out of JFK to Doha then to Male. All flights except for the flight back from Male to Doha was pretty empty--not only are they blocking out middle seats, but there were several empty seats. On the way from Doha to JFK, the flight was at about 20% capacity so everyone got their own row of 3 seats and could sleep easily.
It was a little tricky timing the negative COVID test, luckily our test results came back about 12 hours before our flight, but there were several passengers that were rejected at check in because they didn't have their results back yet. As for getting the tickets at the gate, I had proof of everything, but only needed to show my hospital badge (didn't have anything other than my name as my badge doesn't have my employee ID number). They showed my badge to a person who I assumed was a supervisor, and then they thanked me for my contributions during the pandemic and gave us our boarding passes. Flights to Male are currently about $1400, so my wife and I are deeply grateful for Qatar Airways for their promotion. It wasn't easy to get enrolled in the program, wasn't easy finding availability, and wasn't easy to meet all the requirements to travel during a global pandemic--but it was totally worth it.

Was able to change my booking now to late March, this time no issues or anything. Not sure I will be able to travel then as COVID-19 is not going away. No idea if there are policy updates.

I still haven't booked mine; was hoping to know more by waiting until closer to the 11/28 deadline. Obviously there is still a tremendous amount of uncertainty with the pandemic. Anyone with updates as to whether QR has extended or will extend the deadlines? My understanding is the book by date is 11/28/20, for travel by 3/31/21.
