To share my experience, I applied exactly at 12:00:00 AM Doha time, got the notification message and then 3 days later I got the promo code. Was unable to find any flights to Male/Maldives like I wanted, but we booked Boston to Singapore for around $75 each. I tried to upgrade to business but got an error message, so obviously can't do a rewards upgrade but hoping we can do it for cash at checkin.

Haven't had a chance to spend 3 hours on hold on a phone call yet. I just know that if you try to change the flight online, the search does not include the promo code. I have been trying to get something done by Twitter DM. Initially, they were responding in less than one hour, but now it is taking 10-14 hours to get a reply, which is really annoying since they ask a question and do not bother reading my answer until the following day.

**Update: I was finally able to get my dates changed via Twitter DM. The most frustrating part was that there was not a lot of follow-up to the conversation, sometimes waiting up to 20 hours for a reply (in addition to some prodding in an alternate conversation just actually elicit a reply at all). Definitely include all information on the flight and yourself in the initial message, and spell out each flight segment that you want. I just asked for a change of dates without specifying everything else (there is only one eligible flight per day on my route, but I guess that does not matter). Calling in is probably the best option right now, but their USA call center has limited hours that coincide with my work. An e-mail is definitely a waste of time; I sent one to verify my eligibility 2 weeks ago, but still no reply.

So I went to book 2 tickets for a specific date with promo code. Availability was 2 seats for outbound and 4 seats for an inbound flight. I filled in pax details and proceeded with seat selection. I noticed that I can only select seat for my spouse and that my passport ID was somehow missing. I wasn't able to go back to edit details so I started booking process again. Now, no seats left for outbound nor inbound flight with promo code. I really hope that there is some expiration timer for unfinished booking and that this fare will show up again in a few hours.

I finally booked. This was most stressful booking process I've ever experienced. For example seat A remained blocked after changing to B, or seats AB remained blocked when changing to seat C so I had to be careful when selecting seats. After selection in the summary I noticed that there are no selected seats for one flight (they were!), so I selected again. When paying I got a message "We are unable to block the seats selected, please select other seats". I clicked "pay" again and the message was gone, After payment, passenger details for my wife were missing! I had to enter it again. Of course that after payment I wasn't logged in so I had to manually add booking reference to my account. Now I wonder what else is missing or is wrong my booking.

But I have a question, when selecting fare Economy Flexi with promo code there is information that Cancellation is free of charge. In the summary, it says that refund is not allowed. What are my choices when my plans change? Only rebooking to new travel dates? It says that "New travel dates must be prior to: Tuesday, May 25, 2021". If I change this ticket to lets say Jan or Feb, this would cost me a full fare right?

The understanding on here is that the healthcare promo tickets are fully flexible, so if you need to change them you might need to call up if you can't see how to do it online for free.

So my SO booked something (I haven’t received my code yet), and she forgot which passport she used (dual national). She called the help desk and they can’t see any information/extra information about the booking. So now I’m wondering how and if the checkin agents will enforce the promo code’s T&Cs.

Some others had asked questions last week about if it was possible to add a infant to the booking. I'd like to share my experience.

I booked AMS-DOH-PER online for my spouse and myself with the promo code. After booking I called the call center and booked a ticket for my 2 yr old(child rate not infant). There is no issue getting this added over the phone. The rate charged for the child is not the full flex rate but the cheapest availible rate.
You will get a separate PNR for the 2nd booking and online you will not see that they are linked but in the Qatar system they are. That goes for any airline. My experience is that this does not work out perfectly, for instance when there is a material change so keep an eye on both your bookings before you fly.

I have the same issue. When is your flight and can you update us if there is any issues upon boarding? My boyfriend signed me up but I think he may have used my soon to be expiring passport from USA that I don't plan on renewing.

Is there any chance Qatar changes the policy that the flight has to be done until the 10th of december 2020 ?

It still seems to be hard to travel within that date range.. australia seems to open at mid of december..

it doesn’t have to be done, you just need to start the trip before 10th if december. However when is the last day of changing your booking?

Doesnt work, it seems that the last part of the trip has to be done until the 10th of december. As soon as I change my return flight to a date after the 10th the price increases.

Anyone tried to change their free full flex free tickets yet?

I booked to Australia for Ms. and me. Availability became less for everyday so I thought, better book.
But as situation is what it is, I suspect changes are needed later on. I tried the "Change" button on MMB just for exploration, but I was only met with error messages whatever I tried.
The PROMO code is also dead after using it -> You can't search for available promo destinations and dates anymore.
I guess a long phone conference awaits the day it needs to be changed.
