MH to QR Minimum Connection time at CGK

Hi,

I'm taking flight QR955 which departs at 00:40. I'm looking to take MH727 which arrives in CGK at 23:05. I'll have checked my bags through. Do you think this is possible as I've seen posts saying MCT of 2 to 3 hours?

Thanks very much,
Joe

I would never try and connect at CGK with less than 2 clear hours to boarding stopping - so 2h20m for most airlines.

Uff That's good advice. I'll review my flight options so. Thank you

I’ve done this connection unprotected a few times with less than two hours, if you’re protected I say go for it. It definitely won’t be stress free but CGK is one of my least favorite airports to spend time in.

Recent experiences connecting through CGK T3-T3 were positive. If you're not overly worried about a delayed MH KUL-CGK arrival, then I don't see too much of a problem. Immigration was a little slow on one occasion, but there are always means of asking to be expedited due to a connecting flight. Perhaps an earlier KUL-CGK flight though? The PP lounge at CGK was quite decent.

Thanks all. Decided to get an earlier flight just in case. In the end I should have picked the MNL QR flight rather than CGK one but CGK was on sale .

My experience last year was +ve - transfer between SQ SINCGK -> QR CGKBOS
I had my APEC card ready but did not need it - you can read about it from my post history

Actuallyyy MNL is on sale again, and this time it's much cheaper than before (& I think cheaper than exJKT but perhaps you got a super sweet deal?

Though I'd most likely be avoiding ROME (FCO) for now, but dang - USD 1.3k r/t
