I’m currently booked on ARN-DOH-HKG return, departing and returning in May.
3 out of 4 legs each way are due to be in Qsuites.
If these schedule changes continue into May, and 777-300ER are replaced with something like a 787-8, given that Qatar will allow you to change or refund a confirmed squire segment which is downgraded to be non-qsuite... I’m assuming they’d allow me to cancel for a refund without charges my WHOLE itinerary, right??

4/4 from HKG and 11/4 from CDG
I hope the situation improved by that time

you know I actually called QR to see their fleet for the month of march and to see whether there's any possibility of changing it best to suit my schedule, turned out they are only keeping it 777ER on March 27 and she said all fleets are still subject to change due to the demand all thanks to the coronavirus

If it is A350 or 787 then at least it is a business class product that closer to current standard, but in a 777 you can have a Q-Suite (which I also aim for) or 2-2-2.

(And a side note in all this planeswapping going on in Asia, I'm in BKK with a return from SIN, and I'm quietly hoping QR opens up for reroutes so that I can get the morning A359 out of BKK, which usually isn't QSuite, I'd much rather have that over the almost 100% QSuite route that SIN is)

you know its not my first time to experience a 'downgrade' I was due to fly on QR815 from hkg to doh last year when they messaged me 2 weeks prior that the fleet has been changed to a 788 (ie no Qsuite), then 5 days prior to my departure miracle happened and they changed it back to a 77W, I was over the moon lol.... I hope it will happen again... keeping my faith! lol

It's been mentioned in other threads here, but if there is a choice of older 2-2-2 vs QSuite on the 77W then a good portion of the people in here will rate a 2-seater with no neighbour above the QSuite. Likewise, if I was travelling with someone then I'd much rather have a 2-2-2 layout than the QSuite. Also, should you find yourself flying alone on the 2-2-2 layout just aim for any of the two middle seats and there won't be any isle access issues.

If it is a turnaround it's a case of computers not being updates somewhere, and if not then it can't be a turnaorund.
