Check-in time with a long transit time
Hi there. My partner is flying QR from JNB to LHR. He is staying overnight in Doha visiting friends, but as the transit is less than 24 hrs, his bags will be going straight to London. Therefore, as he is already checked in, and his bags are already at the airport, how long does he need to be at the airport in DOH prior to his flight? Is 2hrs still necessary?

Security + walk to distant gate + flight closes 20 mins before departure.
I'd aim for 90 mins, maybe longer if he has lounge access and wants to take the pressure off.
