A350-900 seatmap query
 
Just logged onto manage my booking and noticed an equipment change from a B777-300 to an A350-900. The flight is QR 824 flying 25 December. The seat map is a 2-2-2 layout. As far as I know the A350-900 is a 1-2-1 layout whether it is the original or Q-suit version.

The seat map shows rows 1-5 A-C D-G and H-K. reckon there could be an error, either the plane is indeed an A350-900 and the seat map is wrong; or the seat map is correct the aircraft is actually an A330-300?

I believe Qatar leases some A350s from LATAM and they have the 2-2-2 layout. There is a thread you can reference...I think it's called the "Complete Guide to Qatar Airways Fleet" or something close to that.

I have this too. Changed from a "normal" A359 with 36 herringbone seats. I find it strange as over five weeks out the seat map shows as full. DOH BKK route.

Hi Same has happened to me for April 2020 to Hanoi. Perhaps they are rotating the leased aircraft to cover for maintenance work on the rest of the A350 fleet.
