Any recent experiences with the child meals in J? What is in it? I’m wondering if I should select the child meal or just go with the normal menu offered. I saw some old threads where it was the same as the kids meal in Y. All advice much appreciated, thanks!

Just experienced the kids meal on LAX-DOH-CMB last Saturday. On the LAX leg they gave breaded chicken nuggets as the appetizer and bow-tie pasta as the main. They also had a few kids items on a special light bites menu like strawberry milkshake. On the CMB leg they gave a cute toy lunchbox with chicken tenders, peas, and mashed potatoes. It also had a roll, milk, raisins and kit kat. My kids love the lunchbox. They carry their drawings and crayons in it.

I would recommend you request the kids meal so atleast it’s loaded on the flight if you do want it. The flight attendants sad we could choose something from the regular menu as well if we preferred. But my kids were happier with their kids meal.

Kids breakfast DOH-FRA 2 days ago. Also came with a hot dish of potatoes and eggs (not pictured unfortunately).
