QR 1:10 Turnaround in KTM - Possible?

Situation:

I have a flight from DOH - KTM that arrives at 1:00 AM.

There is a 2:10 AM flight that departs KTM -DOH.

Question:

Is it possible to make the 2:10 AM flight?

Assume carry-on luggage only.

I am sure I can physically make it to the gate, but curious if QR would allow it.

I can certainly call QR, but thought I would ask here first.

Thanks

Departing airline and destination?

One ticket or two seperate tickets?

Visa requirements for final destination and passport held?

I wouldn't. KTM is a bit of a mess at best of times.
It really depends on where you're from and what passport you're flying on. If Indian, it might just work. If not, you would probably need a transit visa that can be obtained at the airport, but will take time. Also, KTM has three or four separate (and incredibly inefficient) sex-segregated pat-down checks that don't take too long, but the time adds up quickly.
I think that KTM doesn't do airside transfers, but I could be wrong.

Thanks @Somnifer @ft101

As a follow-up:
  • US Passport
  • Two separate PNR's
  • All flights are QR (Qatar Airways)
  • Full Itinerary JFK-DOH-KTM and separate ticket KTM-DOH-LHR
Agree with your KTM airport assessment @Somnifer

Perhaps booking Al Maha Transit Services may be a way to insure smoother transfer? Any idea of costs of this service?

Isn't that only for Doha?

You are an originating passenger in KTM, not a transfer. You will need to check in...check-in closes 1 hour before the flight. Even if al-Maha existed there (it does not) they would not be able to do anything for you.

PS Of course there is a 2:10 flight, the aircraft you will come in on needs to go back. It's not going to sit around doing nothing.
