A new and upgraded economy seat is to be shown by QR on 6th March 2019 at ITB.

The current CL3710 is pretty nice already, if only they could add more amenities like cup holders and storage nooks akin on CX's refurbed 77Ws

There were a bunch of leaked/speculation photos back in mid-Feb, let's see what is actually revealed and if the leaks were accurate.

Unfortunately not, but presumably it'll be sometime in the morning (based on previous QR press launches).

I'm not sure this one was a leak, so much as resurfacing an existing concept that might fit the remit of "revolutionary". I would be very interested in trying that seat - though you can immediately see why it's not gotten much attention so far.

Making waves in the economy world is going to be pretty tricky, you would think - the metasearch engines really have meant that most consumers are only sensitive to their bottom line.

[We really are in Y on QR2 on the 22nd, but thus far loads look very light so the above risks represent a downgrade from the hobo first class one can get in such situations]
