Think you mean SOF. Pretty sure QR don't fly A320s across the Atlantic

QR228 is Sofia (SOF) - Doha and QR uses both seat versions on that route (flat bed + recliner). It depends on the day that you fly. The same applies also from/to flights to Zagreb (ZAG)

Thanks, do you happen to know what days fly what versions? Appreciate this can change at anytime mind you.

Ldnn1 have corrected the title! Posted in haste and my positioning flight from London wouldn't have worked if it was SFO

You can check the plane-Type and if flat-bed only until 22.01.2018 on

Qatar Airways Cargo - Check Availability

If you see at Aircraft "320L" this mean this is A320 with flat bed

QR228 is with flat bed (320L) next week on Tuesday, friday. But they chang the plan already the week after because on 25.1. (friday) they are flying with A320H which is a recliner so you cant be 100% sure if they flew on tuesday last week with a flat bed A320L it will be for sure every tuesday a flat bed A320 in future.

I am departing from ZAG and for me it worked in the past, because i choose always as departure day a day on which they usually use a flat bed A320L if i fly J.

On

http://theqatarsource.com/qatarairwaysroutetracker.html

you can also check which A320 exactly they used in the past for your routing as orientation on which day they use a A320 with flat bed.
The one with flat bed is the A320 with "12J/120Y" seat configuration

florin and purple1addict like this.

OP Probably means SIN-SFO and A350.

Having flown both versions of the A320 to Africa many times I find them both not that great. But if I could choose the new seats (same as they are retrofitting into A330s?) are best. There is more privacy, but they are narrower.
