What sort of meals can I expect when flying Long-Haul Business?
The Business Class meals served are of a far higher quality than those served by most other airlines.
This thread contains photos of actual Menus and/or Wine Lists as well as photos of the food. Discussion about Business Class food is to be found at business class food discussion
What is the menu for my flight?
Look at the index below and see if there is a recent menu for your flight.
There is no menu for my flight. What do I do?
If you are unable to find a menu relevant to your flight, find a QR flight which departs at a similar time to yours, and of a similar length.
Can I rely upon these menus being available when I fly?
No for a number of reasons
1 QR change their menus frequently, so you may be in luck and find the specific options for your flight.
2 Where there is more than one flight a day to a destination the menu varies according to the time of day. Who wants breakfast on an evening flight?
3 Menus may vary from destination to destination due to flight time, number of meals served, local culture etc.
The 2018 menus can all be seen here
The 2017 menus can all be seen here
The 2016 menus can all be seen here.
Menus from earlier are mostly using another meals service system and cannot be used to understand the current menus.

First time flying QR J class. I'll be taking a trip from KTM - DOH, and then DOH - DFW. Someone mentioned on-demand menu...Can I have 2-3 items from mains? or will I be allowed two main courses at various times?
I'm super excited because I've heard so much about this.
Also, I can't seem to be able to find the menu for DOH--DFW route.

Yes. Think of the menu as a inventory of what's been loaded on the flight. You can have what you want, when you want. Multiple times if you want.

Found this menu on my flight from DFW-DOH on August 22. It was left in the seat pocket from previous flight DOH-DFW on August 22.

I had that Taittinger Rosé on a few flights recently; it was AOK. Not great, not even really good, but perfectly acceptable. I found the taste a little bland, understated. You can have the Pommery, though. Not my cup of tea, as they say.

Sorry for the lack of photos of he Canapé and the main (was too hungry and forgot to take a pic lol) but honestly forgot what the Canapé was (think it was a shrimp and smoked salmon tidbit) and had the lamb biriyani for my main, which tasted like normal QR lamb biriyani. One thing to note, the smoked salmon eggs Benedict was quite good for being 35k ft in the air, comparable to that served at some nicer brunch spots in NYC!

Apologies for the lighting. This was a night flight and my seat-mate was dead asleep so didn’t want to blast the overhead light. But I was pleasantly surprised QR didn’t “enhance” this flights menu to the “tasting menu” seen on many late night departures. Though I didn’t take breakfast, glad to see the full option was available.
