Paid access to al marjoun lounge (Qatar business class lounge)
hi guys, I will be flying on Qatar but on a BA booked and code share ticket. Can I still pay for access to lounge? if so, do I simply walk up to the counter. Thanks |
I'm not sure if it is possible to buy access on a marketed by BA flight, but I'd definitely don't think that the lounge is worth the 450 QAR that they charge for paid access.

The people at the bottom of the escalator that check your BPs won't allow you to ride upstairs. The honeymoon story is unlikely to help, that sort of decision is above their pay grade. Don't know if your flight crew can hand out lounge invitations. WorldLux mentioned the price was about $120 per person. You'll have to drink a lot of champagne to get your money's worth and the food isn't that great IMO. |
Ok, so is it worth letting the flight crew know it’s our honeymoon and see if I can get lounge vouchers for access? Has anyone been successful in obtaining these? thanks |

Why do you think that you won't get free access to Al Mourjan?

What about Al Maha Transit and Oryx Lounges? Admission cost is around 55 USD/200 QAR not really cheap but definitely more affordable than Al Mourjan.

No, I didn't. I thought that that was where the freight went.
But I wasn't really trying to correct you. I guess it's normal to assume that anyone asking something here without mentioning cabin class it would be about premium class, since that's what 90% of people here talk about. But of course this is anything but representative for the actual distribution on aircrafts. I guess most Y-flyers are just doing their A to B thing and are done with it, no need to glorify the experience by wasting time talking about it. |
