BAEC GGL On Qatar
quick question to those in the know
Im GGL, so basically Emerald to anyone other than BA.
im flying on Qatar to Krabi and they have all over their booking 40KG Max. I’m Diving so may push this, but perhaps the missus will be light (some hope)
does the Emerald Status give any extra allowance on Qatar or do I need to get the scales out?

Behindthecurtain as an OWE you are entitled to an extra 20 kgs. in addition to the weight stated on your reservation (40 kgs.)
Whilst you may have 60 kgs baggage please remember that no single piece may exceed 32 kg..but you may have as many pieces as you wish.

Thanks folks. I tried looking all over Qatar’s web site and could not see a blasted thing. So it’s 2 x extra 20kg we will be fine
