BA keep cancelling and restating this flight. Moving us out of pre selected seats each time.

So frustrating getting the “sorry your flight has been cancelled” text message everyday this week now.

Same for us on the same offer doing MAN-DOH-PEN

Every time that email comes through I **** myself and think they've cancelled it!

But, had a couple of discussions with QR about the flight given it's our Honeymoon in the hope they don't cancel it!

I didn’t realise the offer worked from MAN also.

My wife has been ringing me in a panic as she gets the email notifications of the cancellations each time also.

Fingers crossed there’s no problems for you.

Just had the 'cancellation' text / email again today although this time I couldn't see what had changed. All looked the same.

Again my seat reservations from EDI-DOH were lost but at least I was able to choose them again without calling BA this time

Not at the same time. The MAN-PEN fare ran a few weeks before. Similar fare rules and price though.

Yup, Ł600ish for the round trip in Business.

On Qatar's website I now seem not to have a flight back from Doha and on the BA website I seem to have duplicate flights.

All a bit of a mess.

Online check in unavailable for me. No problem as we’ll just check in at the airport.

Can’t find info on what time the check in desk closes, surely the recommended getting to the airport 3 hours before departure is a bit excessive.

We will have an infant with us so what’s the advice from past experiences of Edinburgh?

We checked in 2 hours before last week and this was more than enough...small airport...few travellers compared to London airports. I seem to recall that they advertised closing the check-in 50 mins before the flight.

So, another BA cancelled message, seemingly BA's website's not able to show future booked flights at the moment anyhow. Our flight to Bordeaux's not showing on there either. But, on the Qatar app, our flights showing as MAN to DOH, DOH to PEN. Then PEN to DOH, but our DOH to MAN return leg is missing entirely. ???

We had a similar issue, we are booked on MAN-DOH-CNX CNX-DOH-MAN end Feb/beginning of March. We've had multiple cancellations this week and since the last messages, I noticed the CNX-DOH flight was missing. I gave it 36 hours and rang BA, dreading what I might hear . It turned out the DOH-MAN is the part creating issues, as there are multiple flight cancellations by QR, according to BA due to "technical issues at Doha", and they wanted to route us CNX-DOH-LHR (overnight)-MAN. After a lot of back and forth, we were offered the direct DOH-MAN a day before, or the via LHR route on our original planend date. We eventually managed to renegotiate onto an earlier DOH-LHR flight to prevent the overnight at Heathrow. We actually live 30 miles from LHR, but had booked from MAN when these prices came up as my parents are about 7 miles from there. Anyway all sorted in the end and although I wasnt keen on the extra connection, at least I'll bag an extra 40 BA TP!

Interesting, we're closer to LHR too, so would suit us if that was an option. However, I'd want to fly from LHR to DOH too given our car would be at MAN. Hmm, maybe worth a call.

It is sold as an A330 route, but a 787-8 is the standard rostered aircraft.

Current pattern seems to be that they change about mid-month a month at a time. So mid-Jan saw flights for March change. I’d expect April to switch in about a week or so.

Spoke to BA, sorted out the disappearing return flight. No cancellation of the DOH-MAN leg, so no switch to LHR.

Still, some of the 773s used are QSuite versions and some of the flights are starting to use A359s, some with QSuites, some without. So a chance of them, but even so the 2-2-2 777 seat doesn’t look bad. Main hope is the 787s used from DOH-PEN don’t turn back to A333.
