Qatar 777 WiFi
Just got off a 777 Q-Suite from IAD-DOH that had free wifi. It was pretty fast but they never told the plane it was active. One FA just happened to mention it to my wife. Just wanted to toss it out there.

I was on LHR-DOH and experienced the same. 777 with QSuites had free wifi. No data caps/limits. Actually pretty fast and reliable throughout the entire flight (I could download a few large attachments received over email); much better than what I experienced before on other aircrafts, so I wonder if they changed technology.

Onboard 701 to JFK right now (A7-BEK) and WiFi functional. Not announced, but uncapped and free. 1.8 download and .5 upload. Seems to zip along pretty well all things considered. Definitely a nice enhancement

1 hour free or $10 for full flight and faster speeds.
The free wifi was running at 2.40 Mbps download and 2.36 Mbps upload.
The full flight for $10 is running at 4.23 Mbps download and 4.46 Mbps upload.
