As a Oneworld Emerald travelling in QR Y, which of the Miracle Lounges in Concourse D will I be given access to? The QR website doesn’t differentiate between the First and Business lounges. Need to purchase access for a third person I’m travelling with.
thanks

So to answer my own question, and to help others, as we are departing G5 the check in agent gave me and my mum a card each for the Miracle First lounge at G pier. When we got to the lounge, we got escorted up to the first class but where my dad paid 600 baht to enter. Apparently it was a “pro-mo-shon”. Much cheaper than the $29 dollars wanted by resellers online.

For those that prefer to travel in shorts... it appears the initial dress code has been eased. The ladies there told me they are not enforcing the long pants policy anymore. There goes the style... 😄

I like the shorts decision! I for one am not interested in wearing pants when you are relaxing on vacation and it is 35-40 degrees Celsius outside. Not remotely interested.......and I could care less what others are wearing as long as it's not their undies. Nor do I really worry or pay attention. Too many other things to worry about in life.

The lounge hours have changed again as from today, 31 March. Lounge closed between 8.40 and 16.00.
Makes sense I suppose as they have no flights between the QR831 at 9.05 and the QR981 at 19.40.

could somebody post the current complete opening hours? Or maybe in a wiki, together with the ever changing access rules?

I had a pretty decent vodka martini in here this morning, although be aware that by default it’s made dirty.
Bollinger available. Autréau pink (no, me neither).
Showers working, but didn’t try them.
No a la carte, still buffet only. As is common with other downroute Qatar lounges, the food display is visually excellent, and the staff preemptive and helpful. It makes one wonder why BA, the king of slop and indifference, is still around.
Unsurprisingly beef bacon only on breakfast buffet, certainly not a criticism bearing in mind it is Qatar Airlines, merely an observation for the more parochial amongst us, including me.
There’s no power available when propping up the bar, but power (AC and USB) is available underneath the greeny blue bench seats behind if you don’t mind crawling on the floor to access it.
WiFi kept dropping out from my laptop making posting on this forum irritatingly difficult without remembering to select all/copy before attempting to post a reply.

I don't know the opening times of the Cathay lounge, I haven't been in there recently. I did take this as I walked past the JAL lounge which is very close to the Qatar lounge.
I found this lounge quite bright and pleasant when I last used it, but in the end it is a waiting room with free food and beverage. It also has showers if shower hopping is your thing!

Vodka martini was alright but the Espresso martini lacked a frothy head. They don't use a recipe sheet so clearly they've done it before, but I suspect this bar tender didn't know what it's meant to look like.
Dirty vodka martini
Espresso martini, tasted OK, but where's the froth?

If it tasted OK, i.e., you couldn't tell the difference with your eyes closed (there was a small amount of froth in your photo), one might suggest that you start one of these threads in the QR forum: What's the stupidest, least substantive thing you can complain about?
