If you could report back that would be great as I probably won’t arrive overly early if its still closed.

Did you have any luck with the lounge being open yesterday?

Assuming that the QR lounge continues to be closed this month, is the regular miracle lounge the only option for QR J pax? I know there’s a miracle first lounge; is that open for OWS/QR plat pax? Or am I gonna be stuck the dingy ole regular miracle lounge?

Depending on the time of your flight, the JAL lounge might be a possibility

Unfortunately I’m on the 7:45pm flight out of BKK and the JAL lounge opens at 7:00pm 😔

Anyone have some updated info or inside info on when the lounge will open again?
With the further relaxation of the rules from April, no more pre-departure PCR testing requirement and Day 5 of Test and Go only antigen test, and also from May only antigen test on arrival I am sure (hoping) that it will lead to an increase in traffic and reopening of the lounge.

Granted I was on a trip back that started with a tuktuk down a mountain in Koh Phangan, a ferry from KP to Koh Samui, and a packed PG flight where I got stuck in a middle seat from USM to BKK, so anyplace that had a relatively clean shower and a place to just sit and chug water would’ve been acceptable to me!

Seen the most promising sign to date that QR is preparing for the reopening of the lounge in BKK.

They posted a new job availability today:
Lounge Services Duty Supervisor - Bangkok

Yes that is promising.

Although on the other side, my flight in September has just been cancelled and they are back down to 2 flights a day then.

What was your flight number? According to QR and QR Cargo website from 06 Aug onwards there is still 3 daily flights, with 2 out of 3 being A380's.
QR831 has however changed from 08:45am departure to 19:25pm departure.
