Booked award ticket on Gold status, cancel when downgraded to Silver status

Booked award ticket on Gold status, cancel when downgraded to Silver status
Hi,
I have 2 award tickets booked when I have gold status, and now I probably need to cancel them but I've downgraded to silver status.
If I cancelled these tickets, does the gold status condition applies or, silver status(25usd fees).

loveflying78 welcome to Flyertalk and to the QR forum.
The fees are waived for Gold and Platinum members and since you are no longer Gold at the time of cancellation you will have to pay the fees involved.
The waiver of fees is a direct privilege of Gold and Platinum and thus not directly associated with the award tickets.
