Still makes more sense than Cardiff. I could see a couple Qatari flying to Antalya as a short get-away and plenty of Turks travelling to all parts of the world on QR. I'm not sure if it's going to attract huge numbers of connecting passengers from other parts of the world.
But it's silly of us to second-guess these things. Qatar may be desperate to find short-haul destinations to deploy it's aircraft, but I'm sure its network planners have access to MIDT-type data. This may have identified a rich stream of demand we are unaware of. There again they might be throwing darts at a map :eek: |

Mykonos is also becoming very popular with the Chinese and Far East Asian locals, so it's a sensible addition in my view.
