Just out of interest, how do you identify these passengers, and the numbers involved, as connecting from Doha?

J/k. QR logos everywhere: luggage tags, boarding passes, Doha duty free bags. It's quite pronounced on flights that are 2-3 hours after a QR flight has landed. Also meeting people on the island, and being the aviation geek that I am, always asking how they flew there. Lots of Australians seem to like taking QR to Athens.

Greece has improved greatly over the past few years, and tourists are now far braver than just visiting Athens.
For QR, I'd expect to see quite a few Open Jaw trips where people fly into Athens, but leave from Mykonos.
It seems to be quite a common loop, and if it makes life easier for passengers, then it's a win-win.

Chatting at length to the Filipina CSD on our HEL DOH flight yesterday (incidentally J was only 50% full - so not enough people taking advantage of QR ex-HEL fares!) she said that QR DOH CEB DVO and vv is scheduled to commence at the end of March 2018.
Anyone else heard this, as Mrs PtF and I had just about given up on ever seeing QR back in CEB.

Qatar Airways over the weekend opened reservation for its latest destination in Turkey, where the airline schedules Doha – Hatay route. Set to commence on 04APR18, the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft will serve this route 3 times a week.

Yup, an interesting destination serving Antakya (the capital of the province) and Iskenderun (an important port and Turkey's Alexandria).
Antakya's closer to the Syrian border and Aleppo than Gaziantep.
