QR's Austrian website has a discount code 321SUN for several Asian, South African and Australian destinations.
VIE-BKK in J is EUR 1,737 - not fantastic, but the lowest it's been for some time.

ORD or LAX to BKK or HKT for $2800 in R (Business) round trip, available through end of schedule, apparently, subject to some blackout dates. Not available around Western New Year but it is there around Thai New Year. ^

Looks like there might be LHR/LGW - PEN available for between £1500-1600, very limited dates in Nov and early Dec; better availability Jan, Feb, Mar, outbound seem to be limited to Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat. Visible in Google Flights. Not tried to book.
