It's nice, but it's a darned short window to travel.

Still here's hoping that they run this again early next year. I think there are quite a few of us who would love to get rid of our Qmiles (and Qcredits) at something like a decent redemption rate.

The redemption rates are obscene, no? I checked CPH fares to Asia and a roundtrip J was pricing at circa 250k points. A single ticket. For that I expect a floor show, some very fine caviar and anything else Qatar has to offer. Lordy I wish I hadn't credited miles to Privilege Club.

They are, making Qatar Airways Privilege Club the less valuable ffp among big airlines, by a long shot.

Does anyone know of valid promo codes? I'm planning to book travel from Europe to Asia for next week and would love to get a bit knocked off the price available. Thanks.

Black Friday sale coming?

I've been tracking prices from Northern Europe to Thailand for the second half of July 2019. They had been fairly static for months, but in the last week or so fares from Scandinavia to Thailand all seem to have gone up by between around 100 and 500. For example the cheeapest fare from Stockholm to anywhere in Thailand in July is now just over 2,400. I can't imagine there will be many takers at these prices, so I'm wondering if this ramping up of prices represents the prelude to a new 'sale'.

Indeed, other than an LH to TG connection at FRA, QR is the most expensive option in J according to Matrix. Cheapest is TK at 1,447.

QR must be doing so well they do not need to offer competitive prices, we will see how this strategy works out for them ;-)

I just made four bookings in J, two on Oman, one on Lufthansa and the other on Malaysian
