unfortunately i didnt receive this offer!
but MH is running a similar promo at the moment: https://www.malaysiaairlines.com/hq/...verything.html
still possible to book until 15th! considering doing this myself as 2 long dist flights will result in ow emerald! dont think i can do the missing 100qpoints with QR soon enough to qualify for plat?
so, although experience on board is not as nice as QR, i may go for it again. was using MH several times already and its good enough to me!
also completely pissed by QR! not alone the devaluation this year, but also there is no availability to burn my soon to expire 40qpoints by upgrading on the routes DOH-BKK or DOH-SYD! checked next 4 month and could not find a single flight. as u all know, there was decent availability for award seats in the past

The name of the last targeted double/triple QMiles and QPoints promo, I love it Let's just say the name didn't work, but I thank them because it made renewing plat on QR a lot easier, allowing me to start crediting to other programs much faster:

Just got another targeted-email, Economy-flights from Thailand to Europe in the low-30s (Baht), when the low-20s would perhaps be a reasonable-price IMO.
But I haven't seen that in a LONG time, now. Which is why I haven't made a new booking on QR for several months.
And why ever would I want to fly to Da Nang in Vietnam, from here in Thailand, via the Middle-East ? Simply nonsensical !
Just like the pop-up ads on websites, which offer me Bangkok-Doha-Vancouver for B55k, when I can fly for B25k-30k across the Pacific in half the time, surely those ads cost QR money to make ? Money wasted, which could be used to reduce fares or restore lost service-options in catering, in a logical world.

I did not had any QR flight since June, just with TG, TK, LH but will have one end of next week from EU to BKK as the price was at least competitive - let´s see if there is more decrease in services...

I received an email from QR this morning (I have QR email alerts set up from various Nordic countries) - ‘Exclusive Business Class Offers: Fly The World’s Best Business Class from SEK17,349’. That headline ex-ARN fare (approx EUR1,665) is to Delhi, not even SE Asia; others are higher.
Just nine months ago I was buying QR Nordic to SE Asia returns for approx EUR1,100. While the good times may be over as far as QR fares are concerned I won’t be interested at anything much over EUR1,250.
I’m hoping that these ‘Exclusive Business Class Offers’ will be swiftly followed by far more enticing fares - after all it was 1 November 2017 that QR initiated a great sale. I’m keeping my powder dry for now, lower fares must surely follow.

While I thank you for posting these fares I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole. What used to be considered a ‘reasonable’ QR fare is, in my opinion, currently not reasonable.
