I actually phoned Qatar.

They had to contact the ops department in Doha and then got back to me to say it was accidental that the flights were removed. They were put on the site after that.

We'll have to see if they actually operate!

Just looking to book a couple of trips one in Sept is fine but for November really annoyingly the schedule changes from the afternoon to an 0700 departure from CWL (with no quick connection onto HKG). There isn't a lot of price difference between CWL and LHR for those dates so I'm schlepping up to LHR and the wonderful lounge instead. Sorry Cardiff, want to support the route but 0700 is going to be tough to achieve!

Exactly, the LOUNGE at LHR which is approx 90 minutes more travel time than CWL is a huge difference when the prices are the same. Add to that a very good and UBER cheap hotel at T4 for the night before and it's a no brainer.

154 on the DOH-CWL just now. 5-6 seats free in Business and the rest of the free seats in economy. More passengers on this flight than the QR4 (A380) 2 weeks ago.

That is great news. I hope it continues. I wonder whether the relatively high J load is due to people choosing the chance to upgrade via an email offer, or whether they are all buying J tickets. Either way great news. High economy take up is very very encouraging

Seems there is now only 2 business seats on every QR reward when booking via BA.com....hope this is an issue

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. My DOH-CWL had more than LHR-DOH.
