QRs published policy on checking baggage through on separate PNRs (under Benefits/Other Benefits/Through check-in):
https://www.qatarairways.com/en/abou.../oneworld.html
Recommend having access to the website / a printout to share with the check-in staff if they are uncertain.
Check-in staff may also ask to see your other / second ticket to confirm your baggage allowance (hopefully with status) on those flights.

Indeed, they seem to have removed the policy from most regional websites. That is a bad sign. Still resent in some foreign languages and South Africa.
For example, it disappeared from the english-version for Germany, but still remains (for now) in the German-version.

QRs policy (or lack thereof) doesnt really matter in this case, because its BA thatll be accepting your bags. Theyre well known for not checking through on separate tickets, even BA-BA.

If you go to the transit counter at Doha they may be able to have your bag retagged without you having to go landside.

They through checked my bags yesterday at Bali on a DPS-DOH-AMS // AMS-LHR over two tickets.
They didn't mention any change of policy (and it's still on the Indonesian website), but it did take them 45 min to do it, with lots of confusion seemly over the BA leg being in Economy and having 2 bag limit vs Qatar legs in business with a weight limit... They barely spoke about what the various problems seemed to be, but after much help from multiple supervisors I got 3 boarding passes and bags tagged to London.

I'm thinking of booking the following 2 flights (separate tickets):
RAK-MAD on Iberia, landing at 14:35
MAD-DOH on QR, departing at 16:35
I'm a privilege club gold member and i was wondering if there's a possibility to have my luggage checked through to DOH?
Worst case scenario, there's a MAD-DOH flight late the same evening, but I'd rather take the 16:35 flight!

In any case, 2 hours is quite risky on separate tickets.

Unless the QR company rep comes and confirms or denies the policy exists anymore we really have no idea.

I'd noticed it was reported missing from some other country websites but missed the UK mention. Not looking hard enough!

I know it's been mentioned that on the German website, the oneworld 'seamless service' tab still state the offer of through check-in service to other oneworld airlines on separate PNR. I was curious whether it still exists on other languages and it appears they are still present on the Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (for both Hong Kong and China), French, Portuguese, Greek, Croatian, Polish, Hungarian and Indonesian websites at least, but the English and Arabic websites do not have this statement. Perhaps it's just a matter of time until the other languages get translated / updated to match the content of the English and Arabic websites.

BNE-DOH-LHR (QR bus reward) sep tix LHR-FAO (BA eco reward)
no issue with interlining and issuing LHR FAO boarding pass at BNE.
Bag did get stuck at t5 for 24hrs and then sent to my address in FAO) as there were issues with the t4 tunnel affecting operations.

In March, I went to MAD on QR and from there took an onward flight on IB. Two separate tickets. No problem for QR to check my baggage through to my final destination.
A few days ago, I did the same trip reverse. Two tickets again. First segment on IB. IB refused to check my baggage through. When I insisted they even told me it was “technically impossible“. So I had to pick up my baggage in MAD and wait for the QR check in counters to open. Very annoying.
