Flying Edinburgh - Doha - Perth in Economy (Classic Fare) departing on 27/04
I got an upgrade offer in the app yesterday for the EDI-DOH leg (Ł445) but no offer for the DOH-PER leg.
I was really hoping for an offer for DOH-PER, do you think its likely that I will get that offered at a later date or does it tend to be when the app gives you an upgrade offer that is it??

I fly VIE-DOH-CEB today and since 2 weeks ago or so, manage my booking offered an upgrade for 700 EUR for 2 people VIE-DOH…and I hadn’t received any e-mail offer. Oddly enough about a week ago the e-mail came but the upgrade price was higher (950) than what was shown in mmb.
I hadn’t received any CEB upgrade offer until like 3 days ago it finally appeared, so I’m guessing the long segment offer will appear for you when the date gets closer.

The risk of booking two separate tickets would be that you can't upgrade both people at the same time thus if there is one seat available for a cash upgrade at that time, both reservations would receive that offer but only the first to pay would get the upgrade.

Australia has just opened up the borders and demand for travel is high right now. Flights are expensive and quite full. I routinely got UG offers for MEL-DOH flights, but that was not the case 2 weeks ago. I asked when I checked in and was told J was fully booked. I've been looking at award availability too and there is hardly and J availability in/out of Australia for the upcoming months. I'm guessing you won't get an offer for your DOH-PER flight.

BOS - DOH - MLE later this week
QR 744 BOS - DOH - No offer
QR 672 DOH - MLE - $698 total for 2 passengers
Never flown Qatar Airways before so if anyone could offer some advice that would be great. The DOH - MLE offer seems like a good deal, but when I look at the seat map on the QR website its showing rows 11-26 as Business class in a 1-2-1 configuration which doesn't line up with any of the SeatGuru seat maps - the plane is a 777-300ER. Does anyone know if this DOH - MLE flight has Qsuites or something else and if the upgrade is worth it? Thank you.
