Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!
Qatar Airways confirms new business class seat

A video of the new Q Suite can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yhZDsctiZg

Photos of the new Q Suite can be seen here - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/28007634-post109.html

From TGFlyerGirl:
there are some quite complex rules entries around seat selection - but in essence, solo travellers as a guideline won't be assigned QUADS (they are blocked off), and it's generally for 3/4 pax families. Once a QUAD has been broken up (out of necessity - for example with a couple in the E/F seats), then the rest of the quad is unlocked and can be filled with individual travellers.

They've also made 1A/2B last offered to allow airport flexibility to handle last minute requests. The other 18 windows and aisles are free for reservation as per the normal process.

The bassinet position is 11B/J (77W) and 8B/J (A359), reduced mobility seats are 2/4/6/9 B and J.

All A/E/F/K's are backward facing, all B,D,G,J's are forward facing. Total 20 Forward/22 Backward.

Capacity:
77W: J42/Y312
High density 77W: J24/Y388
77L: J42/Y230
35K: J46/Y281
359: J36/Y247

All show the same thing. If you have an EF subscription, you can set an "Aircraft Change" alert that will notify you if the plane type or seat configuration changes. (Be sure to reset the alert each time it notifies you, as further changes are likely with QR.)

Yes, I already have alerts set (and reactivated). I was just wondering what my chances are of seeing more changes.

Pretty high, in my experience. Late last year I had a DOH-ARN flight that switched back and forth between Qsuite and non-Qsuite over and over and over, right up until the date of departure. What's funny is that I connected CBR-DOH and when I checked in for CBR-DOH-ARN, the agent said I'd have Qsuite on both flights for sure. Ha!

I know speculation is a waste of effort here but if the 77L conversion is picking up pace can anyone provide insight on the likelihood of full conversion by July? AKL-DOH is obviously a good shot with 7 of 9 converted but I'm not really in the loop regarding whether they plan to use the last two for that route specifically or just wholesale convert the fleet.

Full conversion, should be done around May.

11-12 it’s in a separate cabin with only the quad and singles on the side

There are only 9 rows on the flight, not 12. I think the A350-1000 has 12 but the A350-900 has 9

Ah don’t tell me that!!! It’s the DOH MLE route. EF recently changed them back to Qsuites but it is a route that says on QR’s website that it has Qsuites .... they were QSuites a few months ago, then changed to non Qs then changed back.
