Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!
Qatar Airways confirms new business class seat

A video of the new Q Suite can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yhZDsctiZg

Photos of the new Q Suite can be seen here - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/28007634-post109.html

From TGFlyerGirl:
there are some quite complex rules entries around seat selection - but in essence, solo travellers as a guideline won't be assigned QUADS (they are blocked off), and it's generally for 3/4 pax families. Once a QUAD has been broken up (out of necessity - for example with a couple in the E/F seats), then the rest of the quad is unlocked and can be filled with individual travellers.

They've also made 1A/2B last offered to allow airport flexibility to handle last minute requests. The other 18 windows and aisles are free for reservation as per the normal process.

The bassinet position is 11B/J (77W) and 8B/J (A359), reduced mobility seats are 2/4/6/9 B and J.

All A/E/F/K's are backward facing, all B,D,G,J's are forward facing. Total 20 Forward/22 Backward.

Capacity:
77W: J42/Y312
High density 77W: J24/Y388
77L: J42/Y230
35K: J46/Y281
359: J36/Y247

I noticed the other day my seat number changed and I called Qatar airlines and their online support team has confirmed Q-Suites.
I did not check the other planes or flights but I can confirm QR 744 (BOS to DOH) on the Boeing 777-300ER will have the new seats; FYI my flight date is October 6th, 2019.
Fortunately I was able to book the 2-rear facing seats for the double bed conversion with my wife.
I noticed my seats changed as well out of BOS. I'm flying on June 26th BOS-DOH and it's showing a Qsuites 777-300ER. My Return flight on July 5th shows the same. My connections from DOH-MLE on an A350-900 shows Qsuites both ways as well. Hopefully this all sticks but I've booked re-facing middle seats with my wife on all legs as well.

I just checked (that's a route I fly regularly). I checked November 1, 10 and 20. All 359s without QSuites. So maybe the 77W service is temporary for the summer; or maybe they haven't loaded everything to the end of the year, yet. Hard to know at this point.

I read from onemileatatime that LAX to DOH route will have the Q suites beginning in February 2019. Can anyone confirm this?

I have 2 one way tickets on hold with American Airlines. One for Bos to Doh in early October 2019 which will have the q suites, and one for LAX to Doh for early October 2019 as well.

I prefer the LAX to Doh. Does anyone know if Q suites will be on this route?

read from another source quoted from you , that Boston to Doh will end October 25th? is this correct?
Also, the blogger that quote you said the LAX to Doh on Qsuites will begin in Feb 2019. Do you know if it is true?

I can't independently confirm this report, but it is detailed enough to sound accurate Plus I've found TPG to be a good source

QSuites on the route, or the route, itself?

EF seatmaps show LAX-DOH have Qsuites from early February on.

You can check EF seatmaps to see for yourself. Of course, EF shows what QR has loaded, which can always change. But as it is now, from early February onward LAX has Qsuites.

It looks like Doha-Stockholm QR171/172 is back to a non-Qsuite A350. That didn't last long. It seems once the press release and fanfare is complete on a "new" Qsuite route they move on to a new destination. The aim must be to have at least one QSuite flight on every route so they can say the entire network is Qsuite!

I'm sorry if this was asked before, is there any way of knowing exact load factors in Qsuite flights? Since QR blocks the quads, expert flyer doesn't show accurate availability.

You can tell the difference between booked and blocked on Expert Flyer using a seat alert check. I had them unblock a quad for myself and my wife for a flight next August, we're clearly the only two people currently booked (see Row 1)...here's how it currently shows up:

Thanks for the answer! I figured this would be a good way of checking but it made me wonder, what about people who did not select their seats yet but purchased a ticket?

You're probably right on that one. I'd imagine they wouldn't show up until whenever the airline assigns seats (T-24? under gate control?)
