Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!
Qatar Airways confirms new business class seat

A video of the new Q Suite can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yhZDsctiZg

Photos of the new Q Suite can be seen here - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/28007634-post109.html

From TGFlyerGirl:
there are some quite complex rules entries around seat selection - but in essence, solo travellers as a guideline won't be assigned QUADS (they are blocked off), and it's generally for 3/4 pax families. Once a QUAD has been broken up (out of necessity - for example with a couple in the E/F seats), then the rest of the quad is unlocked and can be filled with individual travellers.

They've also made 1A/2B last offered to allow airport flexibility to handle last minute requests. The other 18 windows and aisles are free for reservation as per the normal process.

The bassinet position is 11B/J (77W) and 8B/J (A359), reduced mobility seats are 2/4/6/9 B and J.

All A/E/F/K's are backward facing, all B,D,G,J's are forward facing. Total 20 Forward/22 Backward.

Capacity:
77W: J42/Y312
High density 77W: J24/Y388
77L: J42/Y230
35K: J46/Y281
359: J36/Y247

Which routes have Qsuites?

Question Does QR 1364/1363 have Qsuite business

Hi,
I have gone through the thread and cannot see any info relating to flights QR 1364/1363 and whether or not they have Qsuites for business class?

I have looked at flight data from the last few flights and they seem to be rotating through the following 77W
(A7-BAK)
(A7-BAC)
(A7-BAO)
(A7-BEJ)

Can anyone assist?

Positives
Privacy
Comfort
Snack menu additions - although order plenty as some of them are pretty small!

Small negatives
Getting attention is so much more difficult! The crew struggle to see and serve you effectively. Perhaps I need to change my reluctance to use the call bell to get attention.
Lacks communal / bar space of A380 - although depends on your priorities for your flight
Can feel quite dark and enclosed. Felt quite stuffy
Took my first trip on Qatar a few days ago. I agree with your analysis on the QSuite, felt a bit claustrophobic to me.

As promised, here the feedback: Yes QR830 was a Qsuite flight and according the flight attendants (Thai nationality) it "all the time" is. I dont´t want to repeat the impressions of QSuite, as there are many reports about here already, just one thing - I like it :-) (I did seat in a window seat rear facing, it´s cool).
As it was my first travel with QR since early June this year, I have to mention, that in my opinion the taste of the food did improve, especially on the leg from MUC to DOH.

Yes, 830 and its return are scheduled now to be QSuites.

tiamsanit which class are you upgrade from and to? Since upgrades from J to F are not permitted to/from LHR I will assume Y to J.
There being J seats available for sale does not mean that there are upgrade seats availble.
Often unsold J seats can be offered as either Qpoints or cash upgrades at check-in or even e-mail cash offers about 7-14 days before departure.

Even though Y→J upgrades haven't been officially eliminated as J→F have, I wouldn't count on getting one. The LHR↔DOH route is premium heavy with cash paying customers for QR; and I would have to assume that they'll offer upgrades only at the very last minute, and only sometimes at that.

I have a Qantas 280k Oneworld award coming up in December and I originally had HND-DOH-BCN on non-QSuite A350-900.
Didn't know too much about QSuite but luckily thanks to this forum and a bit of searching on the net I've managed to change to NRT-DOH-AMS with both legs on QSuite 777's.
There's 2 couples travelling so thought we'd book into the quad seats and get one leg each on the double bed.

Sorry, I'm new over here but wondered your opinion on the following. I've got my first QSuite flight coming up and want a rear facing window seat (unless anyone has anything to tell me, which might make me rethink?). I'm in 5A but 1K is available.

Obviously the elitist in me is excited by row 1, but is it a little close to the toilets (A350-1000)? Are all the QSuite essentially identical due to their closed nature?

Thanks in advance - all help really is appreciated.

1K is a great seat on the 35G. I noticed no noise from the galley or lav. Admittedly, I typically have headphones or earplugs in for the entire flight.

Thank you. This is wholly embarrassing but can you tell me what a "35G" is?
