Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!

I am also inbound on 27th Oct, but on QR817 instead.

Any news on the Amsterdam route? I know back in April they flew the qsuites for around a week or so on this route. Obviously it was nothing permanent.

Would be good to hear if anyone has any insight into it becoming a regular thing or is it just pot luck right now if they schedule something in one week. Traveling this route in August. Fingers crossed I get lucky. Although I actually still quite like the old 777 business class. A lot of room and to me feels as good as if not better than 787 business class. Maybe I'm alone on this?

My AMS-Doha flight in October has been moved to Qsuites, Mrs E2S and I have been moved from the centre pair to the window. If it stays like that, I would not be unhappy. The return is still the normal sears

I'm very pleased to see my flight in October from CBR to DOH has become QSuites. It will be my first experience of these seats, and on a long flight too.

How do you find out if they have changed the aircraft to the new qsuite a other than on expert flyer seat map? As in do Qatar email you much in the same way they do if the time of the flight changes?

Anybody know how soon before the flight they can do this or can they change aircraft right up until a day before?

I have just noticed that my DOH - BKK flight has changed to a 777P with Q Suites. That made me happy but the I also saw my MCT - DOH flight changed to an A350. If it sticks this is one very happy bunny.
