Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!
Qatar Airways confirms new business class seat

A video of the new Q Suite can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yhZDsctiZg

Photos of the new Q Suite can be seen here - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/28007634-post109.html

From TGFlyerGirl:
there are some quite complex rules entries around seat selection - but in essence, solo travellers as a guideline won't be assigned QUADS (they are blocked off), and it's generally for 3/4 pax families. Once a QUAD has been broken up (out of necessity - for example with a couple in the E/F seats), then the rest of the quad is unlocked and can be filled with individual travellers.

They've also made 1A/2B last offered to allow airport flexibility to handle last minute requests. The other 18 windows and aisles are free for reservation as per the normal process.

The bassinet position is 11B/J (77W) and 8B/J (A359), reduced mobility seats are 2/4/6/9 B and J.

All A/E/F/K's are backward facing, all B,D,G,J's are forward facing. Total 20 Forward/22 Backward.

Capacity:
77W: J42/Y312
High density 77W: J24/Y388
77L: J42/Y230
35K: J46/Y281
359: J36/Y247

Thank you, I was looking in the wiki of this thread. Now I see it clearly.

Congrats! Unfortunately for me, my LAX-DOH at the end of January is still 2-2-2.

As has been extensively reported in this thread, QR is very inconsistent in when middle seats can be allocated. Glad you did get them.

Middle seats were blocked on my flight in April but followed the advice and tweeted to Qatar and seats were changed to 3EF. It also now allows me to select all the previously blocked seats. Quick and easy. Looking forward to my first Qsuites flight!

Flew my first couple of Q sectors this week. It's initially very impressive.

One thing to watch for was the joins between the cushions when in bed mode, some really big gaps on the one I was on and lots of places to lose a phone into the seat innards.

My A359 flight got changed from a non-Q to a QSuite plane. Anyone with the seat numbers for bassinets in C on A359 QSuite? Can't find any info online. Thanks a lot.

To answer my own question: 8J (and - speculating though - 8B on the other side) is the bassinet seat (forward looking) in J on the A359 QSuite plane (vs. 1A/K on the non-QSuite version) based on the automated seating allocation for parents with an infant and confirmed by QR call centre.

Mine also switched today for March. But its the 8:25 departure.
Weirdly the first flight (PVG-DOH), I have no trouble selecting E/F middles for us, but DOH-MLE is blocked....

Why wiki in this thread indicate only LHR, CDG and JFK as destinations of QR's flights with qsuites? There're many posts here informing about new destinations (like ZRH or ARN, etc) but these new airports are not included in wiki. Is it because these other destinations are temporal or not officially indicated by QR as "Qsuites destinations"?

By the way, which of the following airports in Asia, according to you, might get qsuites next year: KUL, SIN or HKG? Of course, I'm aware of "no one knows!" warning in wiki, but anyway I'd like to know opinion of more experienced FT users. I plan RTW in September 2019 with two QR sectors (EU - DOH and DOH - KUL, SIN or HKG) and it would be great if I have chance to spend some time in qsuite

The wiki was really very outdated for routes with Qsuites. I took the liberty remove the outdated information which was misleading. Maybe someone could take the time to summarize the current information.
To answer partially your question on Asia; HKG has been getting Qsuites regularly for two months, but there have been occasional non-Qsuites. QR818/817 seems to get Qsuites all (most) the times, less so for QR816/815.
SIN gets A359s (old config) and 351 (Qsuites). As more A351 are delivered and more A359s are retrofitted, the percentage of Qsuites will increase.
KUL does not get Qsuites and IMO is unlikely in the near future.
EX-EU, it changes a lot, so hard to plan for September 2019.

Adding to this, 830 and its return are QSuites regularly; although I don't know if they're officially scheduled that way, or QR is just running QSuites on that route for a while.
