Qatar have confirmed the presence of a policy whereby if a customer booked a QSuites flight and subsequently gets an aircraft type swap can you request travel on an alternative flight, subject to availability, see post #2709 Previously this included change of routing, now it only includes changing the date on the same routing. QR issued tickets only!
Qatar Airways confirms new business class seat

A video of the new Q Suite can be seen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yhZDsctiZg

Photos of the new Q Suite can be seen here - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/28007634-post109.html

From TGFlyerGirl:
there are some quite complex rules entries around seat selection - but in essence, solo travellers as a guideline won't be assigned QUADS (they are blocked off), and it's generally for 3/4 pax families. Once a QUAD has been broken up (out of necessity - for example with a couple in the E/F seats), then the rest of the quad is unlocked and can be filled with individual travellers.

They've also made 1A/2B last offered to allow airport flexibility to handle last minute requests. The other 18 windows and aisles are free for reservation as per the normal process.

The bassinet position is 11B/J (77W) and 8B/J (A359), reduced mobility seats are 2/4/6/9 B and J.

All A/E/F/K's are backward facing, all B,D,G,J's are forward facing. Total 20 Forward/22 Backward.

Capacity:
77W: J42/Y312
High density 77W: J24/Y388
77L: J42/Y230
35K: J46/Y281
359: J36/Y247

On the Qatar website, it says that flight nos QR 944/945 and QR 946/947 should have QSuites. On Google Flights, it shows "Individual suite" for QR943. Does Google know something more, or is this pure speculation from Google's behalf?

I also see that the Qatar website says the QR 171/172 should have QSuites too, but Google Flights is showing just "Lie flat seat" for QR171 (at least on my dates).
QR946 (A350) has the Qsuite.

Seems like QR740 LAX-DOH is scheduled to go back to non-Qsuite from 10/27/2019?

Looks like the schedule for the LAX flight is still in flux - been many changes for February back and forth from QSuites so I'm guessing they just haven't finalized the schedule yet post 10/27

On this subject though, presumably because the 777-200LR retrofit is going slower than expected, several dates in February are being serviced by a non-Qsuites 777-300ER. If they are capable of running this route with a 773, A) why do they run it with a 772, and B) why would they stick a non-Qsuites version in the interim?

I'm assuming that aircraft follow a particular rotation / pattern; swapping one plane for another affects other routes as well. Also given the planes that are available and where/when each plane is required, it probably makes more sense to use a 773 on particular dates.

A quick check on the cargo website shows this jet is Q Suites enabled! Waiting for other people to re-confirm.

Hi all...I just booked LAX to MLE for thanksgiving and back and it’s not Qsuites. I tweeted Qatar and asked if IAH or ORD were Qsuites and they said none of those routes had Qsuites this coming November but they qualified it with ‘biz routes and planes are always changing’ so I’m guessing they haven’t applied the new layouts to dates past October yet but all will/should be Qsuites in my opinion....I can’t see why they would take them away from those routes over the US Thanksgiving period, every plane will be full. Thoughts?

I tweeted the same thing asking about LAX and DFW Qsuites in November. Received a similar answer.

Am looking to fly DoH> Sydney on 9th Feb and return on 23rd Feb ..

seems there are two flights a day a day with one being an A380 and the other a 777... what are the chances of it being a q suite for the 777? Is it worth taking the gamble or just book the A380 as you know what you get ...

Go for the 777 (if timings suit), as it should be Qsuites (it proceeds on to CBR, where I live). I've been on this flight a couple of times and it has been Qsuites,, and ExpertFlyer is also showing it to be Qsuites on that date.

But, of course, with QR anything can happen, even swapping out the 388.

Im doing Doh-Syd soon too and although I wanted to try the QSuite, the A380 arrives early evening which I find so much better for jetlag. I chose it for that reason. Qsuite can wait.
