4x miles promotion
registered for the promotion and purchased R class ticket, will the R tickets get 4x miles? the wording is not clear ... thanks
Bonus Qmiles is calculated based on the combination of Booking Date, Flight Date, Cabin, Fare Family Purchased and Booking Channel.

If I'm reading this correctly, you should get 5x flown miles (4x (1,25*miles)).
Bonus Qmiles will be earned over the base Qmiles earned on Qatar Airways flights during the offer period.
Number of Qmiles earned for a flight (Base Qmiles) = Distance X Qmiles Accrual % for the booking class.

ibr2008 log into your PC account and read the description of the promotion under the "my offers" tab. For example in my case it states :
Book your paid ticket for travel to any of the more than 150 places we fly to and earn double Qmiles from now until 18th January 2017 for travel between 11th January 2017 and 15th December 2017.
That’s not all, as a special gift from us; you will be eligible to earn quadruple (4x) Qmiles if you book your paid ticket during the Qatar Airways Travel Festival and travel between 11th January 2017 and 15th March 2017.
Book your paid ticket for travel to any of the more than 150 places we fly to and earn double Qmiles from now until 18th January 2017 for travel between 11th January 2017 and 15th December 2017.
That’s not all, as a special gift from us; you will be eligible to earn quadruple (4x) Qmiles if you book your paid ticket during the Qatar Airways Travel Festival and travel between 11th January 2017 and 15th March 2017.

Unless I have misunderstood this promotion, you get 2x (or 4x) Qmiles on the base miles, not including cabin or tier bonus.
This means for i.e. DOH-AKL in R, you will get 9'032 Qmiles + 9'032 Qmiles (2x promotion) + 2'258 Qmiles (25% Cabin Bonus) + 6'774 Qmiles (75% Tier Bonus, if you're gold).
If you have the 4x promotion, you will earn an extra 18'064 Qmiles.
This means for i.e. DOH-AKL in R, you will get 9'032 Qmiles + 9'032 Qmiles (2x promotion) + 2'258 Qmiles (25% Cabin Bonus) + 6'774 Qmiles (75% Tier Bonus, if you're gold).
If you have the 4x promotion, you will earn an extra 18'064 Qmiles.

4x Qmiles until 15th of March.
2x Qmiles the whole year.
That's what mine says as well.
