It is clear that this route is now flying A350.

I would like to be able to lock in my seat for the A350.
My flight is in November and still showing the 787. However, looking at the time table in QRs website it shows A350 planned until the end of October with the 787 after. Also, routes online has the following: Doha – Tokyo Haneda eff 01JUL17 A350-900XWB replaces 787-8, 1 daily. And they don't mention any end day/month for the change so I would say they still did not update or load the winter schedule, starting November 1st.

Longer, it required earlier AMS departure, to which I said I can't do as meeting in London. I said I could make it direct from London and they said not a problem.

Has anyone had any joy in cancelling or moving their flights, for non-QR operation reasons?

Mr & Mrs msm2000uk are soon to be joined by a +1, and we've been told not to fly, so we wont be able to take our Sake Fare flights!

Many thanks Ptf!

Fingers crossed QR show me some compassion when I call up to ask about my Non-Changeable, Non-Refundable, Non-Cancellable ticket!

I think the middle Q suite seats are not allocated until departure. We were also split up, and all the middle pairs showed full on the seat map. But on online check in we had been moved to a middle pair.

However, I am not a fan of the Q suite. It is very private, but that also makes it claustrophobic. You really can't see anything other than panelling and the person next to you. It also meant that I was forgotten several times on the service (drinks, meals etc) Plus in a way the opening the door is disruptive - especially when they are fiddling around with it.

The middle screen can be lowered further than the take off/landing position, but it is a manual process that requires a cabin crew member to fiddle with a special key somewhere near your feet, and then reaching over you to be able to exert enough force to move it either up or down - the screen that is. All a bit intrusive.

Thanks hotwingz and Johnnieboy!

My FT knowledge will take about an hour, so that just leaves the remaining 17 years, 364 days, and 23 hours to fill him or her with more useful life-skills!
