QR J menus 2017

What sort of meals can I expect when flying Long-Haul Business?
The Business Class meals served are of a far higher quality than those served by most other airlines.
This thread contains photos of actual Menus and/or Wine Lists as well as photos of the foodo served in Business class. Discussion about Business Class food is on a separate thread.

What is the menu for my flight?
Look at the index below and see if there is a recent menu for your flight.

There is no menu for my flight. What do I do?
If you are unable to find a menu relevant to your flight, find a QR flight which departs at a similar time to yours, and of a similar length.

Can I rely upon these menus being available when I fly?
No for a number of reasons
1 QR change their menus frequently, so you may be in luck and find the specific options for your flight.
2 Where there is more than one flight a day to a destination the menu varies according to the time of day. Who wants breakfast on an evening flight?
3 Menus may vary from destination to destination due to flight time, number of meals served, local culture etc.

Illustrated Menu index.
The index below contains per Destination, Flight numbers and Route, Type of Document (Menu or Wines), Year and month it was served and the post number or link to the post in this thread.

I am sorry but QR change their menus on quarterly and not monthly basis. This is according to Narita airport station manager.

tokyolyon thank you for pointing this out.

Now I have a problem as to the frequency of menu changes.
msm2000uk says in http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/26895222-post748.html monthly and you say quarterly. You may both be right because the frequency may change from destination to destination.

I think that I will return to the word I originally used 'frequently'!

Will update this post with photos upon my return but was quite pleased to see Taittinger's 2006 Comte de Champagne last night. Great bottle for business class. The rose was Lanson.

Hello,

Am i wrong or QR never offer fish for main dish ?
it's always chicken/duck, beef and vegan ?
To me it's a real weakness !
I have checked some menu and my fiance basically doesn't like spicy food nor beef, so could she ask to have the three starter instead of a starter and a main ?
What dine on demand mean, if after take of i want to dine 3 starters, and several hours laters i want to eat all the main dish available it's possible (i wouldn't do that of course, i'm just curious).

Thank you

diego454 if you look at the menus there is fish to be had on many of them, especially from America, but also such places as Madrid.

Dine on Demand means that you are in charge of when you eat and what you eat. If you want to eat then sleep until landing you can do so. If you want to eat several times during the flight then you may do so. You may choose from the menu what you want at each serving. In other words You are in charge!
If you want to repeat a dish then it is often possible but it depends upon the loading of the flight. You have to ask the cabin crew.

Have you looked at http://www.qatarairways.com/dk/en/sp...uirements.page to see if one of those meals are more to your taste?
