Interline Check In
 
I have a Qatar LHR-DOH-MEL-AKL ticket on the same PNR. When I tried to check in online, the Qatar website issues me a boarding pass for LHR-DOH but only an "online check-in confirmation" for the DOH-MEL flight, and didn't allow any check-in for the MEL-AKL flight at all. Is this normal? Is it because Qatar need to see my passport and/or the MEL-AKL flight is more than the 48 hours away permitted by the Qatar check in system?

I assume Qatar at LHR will be able to issue all 3 boarding passes and through check my luggaage?

Yes - all ticketed together
