Problems with ticketing
 

Im trying to book a ticket for me and the family from Istanbul to Maldives from 29 April-6 May. I found the perfect flights for us on google flights but just cant seem to get them to ticket. This is the flight in question

The flights and price show on Qatars website but after putting in all names the following error comes up :

We are unable to confirm the fare for the flights you have selected. Please choose a different fare or flights and resubmit your request. (15012 - 23951 - 421)

Ive tried ticketing this through many different OTAs without luck too and even tried a travel agent who also couldnt help. Does anyone have any idea whats going on here?

Without meaning to sound rude, what happens when you try and book on the QR website directly?

Start it as a new booking, without being linked by Google Flights, and follow it through.

Google Flights could well be showing phantom availability, and it has history of doing so. The price you are seeing on Google Flights, may simply no longer be available, hence it is triggering an error.

Try a brand new booking on the QR website and let us know if that solves the issue?

Tried it as a brand new booking on Qatar airlines and selected all the flights separately. It shows the price and availability, lets me put in the names and contact details, then gives the error message after that.

I think it has to do with availability in O class which is where this fare should ticket. I just got off the phone with Qatar and they cant see availability in this class and had no explanation. Its just strange that Qatarairways.com show it as available but wont ticket.

So, decided to book IST-CMB/MLE-IST instead and will buy a separate ticket between the 2. Price was almost the same and availability was there in O. Also added and extra 3 days to have a quick look around Sri Lanka. So longer holiday in the end, maybe things were meant to be this way.
