For those in the U.K. O2 is currently offering 15% off Qatar flights through the O2 Priority app. Must be booked in the next week, for flights within the next year. Includes economy and business flights from the U.K. The discount excludes taxes etc obviously but I gusess picking up a cheap o2 sim could be worth it...

Not sure if this link will work:

Has this thread moved or is this just a reflection of no QR sales.

There hasn't been half the decent sales there were this time last year...

Some people suggested the recent Qatar problems might make them run a sale, but that hasn't happened so far.

Before the dust hasn't settled and they finally know where they can fly in future and where not I don't expect any activities in global sales (e.G. new Globetrotter campaign) but maybe there will be some local sales to keep their customers somewhat happy.

Some good fares just come in, book by Friday. Arlanda to Singapore £1100, Warsaw same, from London £2000. Seems Bangkok more expensive than Singapore

Think will go for the £1100 fare to Singapore.

Which coupled with the £400 return AKL-SYD on LAN makes the cheapest way to get to Australia at the moment as well.

Does the new site mean the death of the easily scrollable sale fare page [Fare Finder, was it?]? The new offers page does not make it easy to flip through and find decent [premium] fares from a variety of origins.

The £1100 ARN-SIN fare doesn't appear, for instance - only Bali at closer to £1800! Looking to pair an ARN-SIN (or reverse) with KBV, HKT or DPS (not necessarily ARN) if the price is right...

Probably only have a week so much more interested in EU>DOH>SIN,beach>DOH>EU or the reverse than EU>DOH>SIN>beach>BKK>DOH>EU. Also less than fussed by BKK from what I've read.

You can skip BKK then and fly straight from/to Krabi from Doha. And when in Krabi go directly to Railay for some good beach time

And you can fly SIN-KBV directly with Air Asia.

Yes, I'm aware of the direct flights. My point was that the new website seems to have made finding which EU origins have the cheap flights to KBV/DPS/HKT much harder/impossible as far as I can tell? There's no longer a list of fare deals from your chosen country.

Matrix isn't quite the substitute, as open jaws can't be searched on the calendar view.

Not exactely. You can get to SYD ex FRA for 1,900£ (though on Air India; all sectors on 787) and would be >100£ and would not have the risk of separate tickets, but you have to trade QR for AI (I'm not sure if that's worth it...).

Or flying CPH-DOH-MEL on QR for 1,900£. (BTW: Didn't know that QR flies the A380 to MEL).
