Yes, it is really a great Champagne!
But on 12th May QR833 from BKK to DOH, 2,5 bottles (out of 3 or 4) were gone before take off, as the F cabin was fully occupied......
I asked why the stock just 3 or 4 bottles for F and was given the answer that 80% of the first class passengers normally are Qataris....

My first leg on an A350 in a while, and new champagne in J. It’s named Lallier Grande Réserve, and tastes downright foul.

I agree. I've switched back to the rosé, which is (to my taste) an improvement over the Drapier.

Had the chance to try the 2004 Krug on my last flight..very nice.. also tried the rose (can’t remember the name), unfortunately it was served frozen ( not kidding , ice chunks in my glass)..seems there was something wrong with the fridge onboard since the slices of salmon that came with the caviar were also frozen

Krug 2003 Clos Du Mensil in Al Safwa this festive week. Another glass or two and I'll have covered the cost of my flight. It really is absolutely delicious!

Had two different kind of Krugs in the lounge and normal 2004 Krug on the plane. Not bad way to end this year.

Hope it continues. I'll be there several times in February. I've never tried the Clos Du Mesnil. OTOH I'll be perfectly happy to try something else of equal rarity, something not normally available by the glass.
