I had 4 787 sectors recently, three in row 1, one in row 4 - all in the middle pair with my wife.

I found the foot space a LOT better in row 1 if I'm honest, row 4 the feet cubby felt tight to me. But there is an extra storage drawer in rows 2-5.

Will they be running 2 daily A332's for the DOH-HKG flights from Feb 2016 , given how it seems QR have absorbed CX's cancelled CX 640 flight?

They have 6 currently up to A7-APF, not sure if A7-APG will be delivered this year.

The first post on this thread (details of the fleet) is totally inconsistent with the information given in the wiki, especially for A332s. I understand that this is a regular post by QatarA340 updated in May 2015. But it does create confusion for the occasional reader like poor myself and other infrequent users of QR. Of course, the dire state of QR official website does not help.
Would it be possible to update it?

Perhaps simply adding a line to it in bold that says: "For a definitive and up-to-date guide, please look at the wiki information directly above this post"

A359 A7-ALF MSN11 has been "delivered" today and departed TLS this morning as QR3380.

A7-ALE MSN8 is also scheduled for delivery later.

Thanks QatarA340 for updating the A332 in the first post.
The wiki shows only 3 A333 left with old J seats, while the first post shows 5. I assume that the summary is more up to date.
QR seems to be nearing the end of its retrofit. Do we know when all the A330s will be retrofitted (or leave fleet)?
Would January 2016 be a good guess?

February 2016 seems like a good bet. Hope that when the refurbishment is complete QR issue a press release and promote the fact they no longer have angled flat seats as many still have the impression that all QR's A340/A330 have the old seats.

You are most welcome, just to correct the first page there are some refurbished A330 with new seats/IFE in economy and it appears that some have the old seats/IFE in economy and were only refurbished in J. I only noticed that recently.

Is Qatar delaying delivery of its remaining A380's?

The 7th A7- APG (currently registered as F-WWSD aircraft rolled out at Toulouse back in September but without engines fitted and is now "stored" still without engines https://www.flickr.com/photos/aircra...ream/lightbox/

From the photograph storage of this airframe appears to be planned for the immediate future.

It looks like it; but QR are not utilizing their A380 to really long haul routes. I wonder what YUL and MEL are doing? or perhaps JFK.

At this stage its not a case of delaying deliveries as much as it is a case of Airbus building the aircraft too early. Originally #6/7/8 were supposed to be delivered in 2016 and #9/#10 in 2017 but due to various cancellations and deferrals on the A380 program aircraft are moving up that even #8 would have been ready for delivery this year if things continued at this pace.

Emirates are taking aircraft earlier than originally planned and QR took#6 APF earlier than originally planned. My guess is that QR didn't want to take #7 and #8 aircraft early and obliged Airbus with original dates. If QR doesn't take them by the end of 2016 then we can consider that QR is deferring them.

Regarding QR's usage of the A380, there is a lot of misconceptions on why QR are not using it to Australia and the US (for the time being).

The Complete Guide to the Qatar Airways Fleet

As a point of reference, the refurbished A340's have VERY narrow foot space in the J class centre seats row 2, 3 & 4.

There is great foot space across all seats in row 1.

The window pairs are narrow, but not as bad as centre.
