Has there been some delivery problems from Boeing, like Airbus paint issue. Or is the age calculated from some date when 1st part is produced?
Deliveries were delayed for a while yes.

A7-BHN (787-9) is taking its first revenue flight. I guess they still havent introduced the promised upgraded 787-9 seat on this latest frame?

I guess we won't see the new seats anytime soon if they're only going to reveal it early next year:

Also, back in 2019, QR said they will have new economy seats yet I don't think there's any plane equipped with it?
Qatar Airways’ new Economy Class experience features a seat with an innovative 19-degree recline system, additional legroom, dual trays, 13.3-inch 4 K widescreens and type ‘C’ fast charging USB port.

Those seats were supposed to debut on the A321neo, they were going to be manufactured by the same manufacturer that was going to make the 787-9 business class seat. The contract was terminated in 2020.

Looks like A7-ALL is having a similar engine run in TLS as AIBGE09B. Hopefully on the way home soon.

ALL in

I don't recall seeing this article posted at the time but it seems that even according to arch rivals Emirates this wasn't QR just whining about a superficial paint job. Tim Clark is quoted as saying:

"Our engineers looked at these A350s and said they are not in a good shape. So we say to Toulouse: by the delivery of the A350, you will have cracked this problem, otherwise you will face us with no deliveries either"
