I just read, that Qatar just received a new A359 from Airbus. It's on lease from Latam. Anybody know the seat configuration? Q-Suites? Aircraft registration is A7-AQB

A7-AQC is coming. So another A359 from LATAM.

The leases from LATAM will likely feature the 2-2-2 configuration seen on previously leased LATAM A350 aircraft. Not a particular fan of them myself given how great the other J products are (reverse herringbone and Q-suites).

It has been a long while since last Boeing 777-300ER has be retrofitted with Qsuite.
Any information on current retrofitting program?
Many thanks in advance.

A350-1000 electronic window shades in business class

Hey y’all,

I realized that some A351 have manual shades in business while some have electronic ones!! Anyone knows why? Thanks

Just check with QR cargo on today's AMM-DOH QR401, it is showing 77I for A7-BAQ.
So A7-BAQ is still old J.

QR30 from EDI delayed this afternoon (Wednesday) so I've changed my itinerary by 24 hours, now leaving Thursday. I can see my new booking and on my next flight from DOH-BKK (QR834) I've been allocated seat 31J. On most seat maps this is showing as an exit row seat. Is it likely this would have been allocated >24 hours ahead?

I have some doubts as there appears to be a gap at Row 30 too on some sites which looks exit row like. This is on an A330-300 (Type 333H on qrcargo). Can anyone confirm the exit row number?

Will the Auckland route be switched to the 787-9 when they arrive?

Why would they? Their 77Ls, 359s and 35Ks are more capable than the 789 on such long flight.

No equipment change because at the true planned distance accounting for winds and landing alternatives, the 77L can haul 15 tonne and the 359 & 35K can haul 10 tonne more payload. Plus the distance is really stretching the 789 so the specific fuel consumption is much higher than 77L, 359 and 35K.

The next expected equipment change will be the 778 in 2023. If only those last two pesky 77Ls were refitted with Q-suites.

As the 789 is less of a gas guzzler than the 77L and probably the A350’s too. If the 789’s aren’t delivered with a crew rest, then my comments are invalid anyway.
