The fleet type codes such as 77P or 77K are what can be used to identify the type of aircraft under "Check Routing" on www.qrcargo.com. The aircraft type on QR Cargo is fairly accurate if you search for a flight within the current calendar month.

It's a cargo plane.

Why BAH and BAJ are still not updated as a qsuite business class?

BAH isn't QSuites for sure. Will check BAJ when able.

Edit: And BAJ also isn't QSuites.

As of today, 12th AUG 2019. There is none of Qatar's Boeing 777-300ER in hangar for Qsuite retrofit.
Does anyone know which is the next one? and When?

I am flying Qatar for the first time in December from London to Lagos (via Doha). I usually go BA but thought I’d give Qatar a try for once since I’ve heard such great things. I’m sure it will live up the expectations. But I’m worried about the aircraft swaps. I am booked on the A350-1000 on QR7/8 but just looking at recent flights it’s swapped out a lot with the A380. Is this because Qatar has too many routes on the A350-1000 for the amount it has. Other routes seem to be more consistent than the London route. Anyone know why?

Hard to say without asking QR directly but I would imagine it's a combination of several things: loads, aircraft availability, maintenance etc.

A380 or A350.. both have their highpoints and features, I would be absolutely delighted with either. Whatever you end up with, the seat will be (in my opinion) better than whatever you would get on BA; at least until the Club Suite becomes more routine. Even then I still mostly prefer the service on QR.

The A380 is normally on the QR 3/4 rotation. QR 4 and QR 8 both depart LHR within an hour of eachother. Could you be looking at the wrong timings perhaps? I've never seen an A380 used on QR 8. Which dates are you looking at?

From the QR Source, August shows on 1st to 4th, 16th, 21st, 23rd to 25th, 28th, 30th and 31st, QR8 was operated by A380. There were also a couple of B777 flights and a couple of days it didn't run so it seems less than half of the August schedule was on the A350. opus99 perhaps has cause for concern.

We are rebooked from a BA flight onto a QR flight thanks to the strikes

Couple of questions would really appreciate some help with
- what is cost of the onboard wifi and does it have an “unlimited download” option?
- the upgrade option is not available through Manage my Booking as we booked through BA, will we be able to get a paid upgrade for one of the legs at SIN or DOH ?
In my recent flights, one hour internet was free, for full flight internet (unlimited) I was charged USD 10, if I remember right. But note, over India you will not have any Internet connection!
If there are vacant seats in J, I think QR will be happy to sell them to you - just ask at checkin. But I doubt that the price for it will animate you to buy it, as it is quite high, from my point of view.
