The fleet type codes such as 77P or 77K are what can be used to identify the type of aircraft under "Check Routing" on www.qrcargo.com. The aircraft type on QR Cargo is fairly accurate if you search for a flight within the current calendar month.

It's funny how people pretend to say that Business class seats on narrow body aircrafts (A319-320-321, B737s) on flight more than 5:30 hours give the same comforts as on the widebody, it is not, period.
Stop defending the airlines for the lame excuse of flying those small birds mid to almost-long haul. Fly larger planes long haul please, if you can't fill it, try harder!!

And those narrow-bodies are very attractive for smaller destinations, where a wide-body would simply be overkill.

I am confused, because QR's website doesn't show the same configurations for the A330-200 as is shown here and on theqatarsource.com.
I believe QR's website is out of date?
Flying DOH-KUL on 26/3 on an A330-200 and would like to know if it's going to be one of those with full flat beds or one with lie-flat seats (170 degree recline). I'm also confused because the information in the wiki is not the same as in post #1.

Anyways, ALL 332s in the QR fleet have fully lie-flat seats, whether they are the B/E Minipod style (slightly modified version of the 777 seats) or the B/E Diamond style (same seat as those found on the lie-flat 320s and the 346s). And while we're at it, all but one 333s have the lie-flat B/E Diamond seat--the lone remaining 333 with angled seats will be leaving the fleet sometime this year, after which ALL 332s and 333s will have fully lie-flat seats.

florens: Post #1 on this thread is way out of date. The Wiki is the accurate one. Mods: Perhaps the Wiki can be updated with a bolded statement at the top indicating as such?

Question for those in the know: how does the future look like for the 320Hs and their wonderful (ahem) recliners in J?
I have a flight to Athens next month and BOTH WAYS from and to Doha are scheduled on 320Hs :'(

That's a shame and I guess quite rare for QA to use an older style aircraft for a flight more than 3.5 hours. If I book this flight I would still be tempted to upgrade one way just to use the business lounge here in Doha.
It wont be until end of July / early August anyway and a lot can change in that time!

Yes this is what I would do. When I arrive back to DOH the last thing I want to do is hang around the airport when I live only 15 minutes away!

Ben_W Athens s served by four flights daily. According to http://www.theqatarsource.com/qatara...tetracker.html three flights are A320s and one A330. Of the A320s there is a mix of types but there appears normally to be one flight a day with a longhaul aircraft with lie flat seats. One of the flights has a sloping seats and IFE and the other sloping seats and no IFE. QR203/QR204 is normally an A330 either a 332 or a 333.
There is no real pattern to the A320s. Some days all three flights are of the same type and some days there is no longhaul aircraft. The Al Maha have yet to appear on the route!

I am going to book the 19:30 flight departing Doha on the A320 and return on the A330 flight. Currently it looks like a there is a lot of J availability on the A320 flight so I will use my miles to upgrade. I don't think there is anything for the return flight so I will have to decide if its worth paying for the upgrade, or seeing if I get a decent upgrade offer.
