Is the last remaining a330-300 with slopping seats set to be refurbed at any point?

AFL and AFM (last two un-refurbished A332) leases should end 09/2016, hence the 3Q 2016 in the wiki. They are due to enter service at Eurowings in 10/2016 and 11/2016. Aircraft at end of lease will have end-of-lease maintenance work as well as painting done.

AEB (the last un-refurbished A333) I understand will leave 12/2016, I don't have confirmation of this and that is why the I didn't update the wiki with this information.

I'm traveling on QR199 (DOH to BUD) in August 2016. followed the steps in the Wiki to find that the plane would be 320L, which should be the new biz product (i.e. flat bed), but when I called customer service, they mentioned that it would be the old recliner seat... I am confused now! how do I tell what's correct?!

kangliu welcome to Flyertalk.
According to Theqatarsource.com three times in the last month DOH-BUD has been served by sloping seat A320s.
Through no fault of its own QR has an acute lack of wide bodied aircraft. This has a knock-on effect to the A320s.
The only sure way to know which type of A320 your flight is when you board the flight.

A7-AFL has been painted into Eurowings colours.

A7-AFM has not flown for almost 2 weeks..

So no more A332 with angled/slope seats and only 1 A333 remaining.

db07mufan Welcome to Flyertalk and the QR forum.

The new Business class seats are supposed to be launched in November this year. But when they will actually be presented no one knows. It will then take a long time, probably years, before they are installed company wide, if at all. The 773s have recently been re-seated in Y (from 3-3-3 to 3-4-3) so they may not be a priority.

My guess is that the new seats will start appearing on aircraft in late 2017.

As per what was said publicly:

- Seat to be launched in November of this year.
- Newer A350s will be delivered with the new seat from 2017.
- 3 aircraft will be refurbished with the new seat per month starting in January 2017.
- 777 to have priority with the refurbishment.

I wouldn't book my flight expecting the new seat, if you find the current product not to your liking then you might consider EY ex-DFW.

can anyone confirm that the 777-300LRs are equipped with power outlets for laptops and where they are in J? I've only sat in that configuration once and can't recall where they are.....

The plug points on a 777-300 (only the 200s are LR I believe) are built into the centre console between the seats in J.

The socket is right in the middle, facing the gap between the IFE screens.

You may want to take a US two-prong adapter just in case.

I just checked and QR website shows that both 320 versions have flat bed seats now in J.

777 J row 4 seats - really missing a window?

Don't seem to see the answer in this thread. Is it true that all 777 have no window for 4A/ 4K seats? I am flying 777-300ER (77W with 4 rows in J) just in case or 412 seater version.
