The fleet type codes such as 77P or 77K are what can be used to identify the type of aircraft under "Check Routing" on www.qrcargo.com. The aircraft type on QR Cargo is fairly accurate if you search for a flight within the current calendar month.

bigRW according to QRCargo all MAN-DOH flights are on the B787 so it looks like MAN's A330 days will come to and end. If you want to check your dates specifically there is a link to the search site in the wiki at the top of the page.

Go to http://qrcargo.com/ and enter your routing and date into the Flight Schedule.

You should then be able to view the aircraft being used for your flights.

Best,

What seat-map shows when you go into Manage My Booking?

QR Cargo is only accurate for the current and next calendar month. It uses different source data.

QR will receive about 3 to 4 more A350 frames for this year. Any idea if they will use any of these for US flights?

They expect 8 more A350s this year. The A350-1000 will start being delivered next year and will have the new business class. The A350s will be deployed across the network but in terms of the longer flights, expect GRU/PER/MEL and more US destinations to get it.

I saw from one of the websites that Perth and Berlin will get the A350. Currently planning year end trips to US. Thinking if I should route to miami on B773 or A350 to Boston or Philadelphia.

What is QR's plan with its A320 fleet in terms of seat retrofits?
Are all A320s eventually going to get lie-flat J seats, or is QR not going to bother?

agjil there are two types of A320s in the current fleet, longhaul, with lie flat seats and shorthaul with sloped seats. Add to this mix the ordered A320neos that are due to start arriving 'shortly' and the picture is confusing. I suspect that the new A320neos will have lie flat seats and be used on longhaul flights. I cannot imagine that lie flat seats would be retrofitted to the current shorthaul fleet but they would, of course, disappear as they leave the fleet.
N1rotate should be able to give us both much more information.
Shorthaul is less than 5 hours, longhaul 5 or more hours.

Just to avoid confusion, the East African destinations (DAR, NBO, EBB, ...) are all >5 hours but are normally served by the A320s with older cradle seat (which I quite like).

Thank you flying_pig for pointing out a problem with A320 usage.
There are only 9 longhaul A320 aircraft in the fleet at the moment which is totally inadequate to service all the longhaul destinations. So several longhaul destinations are serviced by shorthaul aircraft.

Which type is scheduled for your flight can sees on the seat map under Manage Booking. The Shorthaul Y cabin starts with Row 13 whereas Longhaul starts at row 14.
Can't see the Y section then I would suggest looking at the recent flight history of the destination on TheQatarsource.com where you can see flights, with aircraft registration number, for the last 4-5 weeks.

The longhaul registration numbers are A7-AHP to A7-AHY except A7-AHV which does not exist.

Since the biggest difference is in the J cabin remember that Longhaul have lie flat seats whilst all others have sloping seats.

Hi Guys, apologies for the question, but I have consulted the wiki and Expert Flyer and I am thoroughly confused!

I have two flights coming up in QR F - DOH - AUH - DOH. Both flights are listed as A320. The seat maps all show 6 seats in F in a 2-2 config, but I looked at the Y cabin on expert flyer.

The first flight shows Y starting at row 8 and ending at row 34.

The second flight shows starting at row 8 and ending at row 28.

Can anyone shed any light on what configuration these flights will be? Thanks!
