Economy service on QR
New to region and about to become a frequent flyer around the Middle East. I'm interested to know what i can expect from the regions airlines in terms of inflight service on short haul routes up to around 2hrs flight duration? After years of flying with EU airlines I have been used to not getting much at all - what can I expect more from QR (in economy)?

Economy service on QR
Had the pleasure of flying in Y class finally on the DXB run recently and was very impressed - once on a brand new 320 and on a330 - bit with impressive and fast seatback IFE, decent storage for economy and seems like decent snack boxes.
Aside from those earlier VS flights I took in my youth, this is right up there I'd say.
