The reconfigured A332 comes in two versions, one is distinguishable by the 4th row being behind the galley and doesn't use the B/E Diamond seats. The second reconfigured A332 version uses the B/E Diamond seats and is not distinguishable from the seat map. For updated info, refer to the wiki on this thread.

anabolism according to http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qatar...ays-fleet.html the last two A332s with sloping seats should leave the fleet this year. So by next year all A332s should have lie flat seats.
But it is a long time to next year and much can change before then. So keep an eye on the aircraft type it may change!

In my opinion any pair of seats on an A332 are suitable for a couple.

Question

Flying QR70, FRA to DOH, on May 22. How can I find out which of the A332 we'll end up in? qrcargo only lists "332H" and flightradar doesn't have anything yet for that date.

Thanks mate.

decentmove I suggest you wait the few hours until QR69 departs DOH and then use the Wiki on http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qatar...l#post26591973 to decode the registration number.

Guess there's no other way than doing just that. Haven't found the info any other way so far. Let's wait then.

flightaware already shows that QR69 is going to be a B787-8, dunno how reliable that is. But if it's true, than no worries about flat bed or not as it would be in the case of an A332.

flightradar doesn't have any info yet.

Hi, Can I borrow your knowledge please?

I'm due to fly this Sat DOH-SIN on an a330-300 in J. The front seats have just opened up. (Apparently there is more foot-well room?)

I'm travelling alone, and usually like a window seat. However, I hear that the A330-300's can be a little tight.

Would I be much happier in 1E over 1A? Or would 1A be more cosy / private without being as squished as some people say.

Thanks for your help!

Anyone know if any of the A330s out of Milan MXP or Berlin TXL to DOH have the newer style business class seating ?

And if so, which flights they are ?

Cheers.

Sisyphus1carus according to Theqatarsource
Since 28 April there have been from MXP
7 flights with the sloping seat A332,
1 flight with the 3 class A333 with sloping seats
21 flights with A333 B/E Diamond seats
17 flights with A332 Minipod seats
and the remainder A332 wirh B/E Diamond seats.
From TXL
0 flights with A332 sloping seats
2 flights with the 3 class A333 with sloping seats
4 flights with A333 B/E Diamond seats
5 flights with A332 Minipod seats
and the remainder A332 wirh B/E Diamond seats.

The new 'Super' Business Class seat is not due to be launched until November.
Due to the way you asked you will have to decide what "newer style business class seating" is to you.

Thankyou very much. I'd never heard of http://www.theqatarsource.com/ so I'll have to see how to get info out of it and how to interpret it.

In terms of "Newer Style" I realised that was a bit tricky to determine given the hotch-potch the A330 seems to be !

I was thinking of the seat pictured here:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/25475940-post167.html
which I now realise is not liked so much due to narrow shoulder and ludicrously narrow leg space as a bed.
Probably an older lie-flat is more comfortable. Goodness knows. Probably the angle-flat are more comfortable too !!

Will probably be on the QR081 DOH-TXL

Qrcargo is also very useful, and is for future dates to check the aircraft operating your flight...more accurate than in Manage My Booking.

Looks ridiculously small. The leg space must be a bad joke.

It is. I'm 6' 2" and had that seat on an A340 overnight from KUL-DOH

Never again

I've reviewed the B/E MiniPod flatbed seats and compared them to the B/E Super Diamond seats in my latest trip report here:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...ess-class.html

Thanks to those on the QR forum who helped me out with information on the A330 before my trip.

Thumbs down back and forth ...

Dear fellow travelers,

It's probably childish telling the world how annoyed I am with the frequent equipment changes of QR. ;p

Originally booked on an A350 in J, I'm now rebooked on what they call A330.

I'm afraid there is no way of finding out which of the many A330 versions I'm gonna be flying with, right? And therefore it's impossible to zero in on the correct seat map?

Advice as always much appreciated.

Nice weekend everybody!
