Apologies if ADD has been covered before but didnt see it. QR flies into ADD into terminal 1 which is the domestic lounge. This creates confusion sometimes with pick ups who automatically go to the International terminal (T2)...especially at 1230 or so at night.
The lounge on departure is up the stairs on the left and is the Cloud 9, Ethiopian Airlines (Star Alliance) lounge. I didnt fancy food poisoning so skipped the food offerings and had a glass of water. The wifi was rubbish but they had Sky News on.
There were no queues at all in the airport on departure and there are 5 check in desks to choose from. (Apparently the reason for the T1 usage is they can only have 2 desks to utilise in the International terminal).

The lounge in Singapore has been changed recently. No more dnata lounge. I was told they received too many complaints about it
Now QR uses the "SATS Premier Lounge" which is slightly nicer than the dnata lounge I'd say.
The lounge can be found by taking the same escalator up after the departure immigration and then heading left (instead of right for the old dnata lounge).

No QR lounge in OHS - No lounge(s) at all - period.
Compensated for somewhat by eager to help, smiling and friendly Omani staff and equally pleasant and friendly immigration and security staff.

as an aside, the Ethiopian Embassy in London is not issuing Business visas at the moment indicating you should pick it up in Addis. 5 hours later in the naughty boys room I'm finally let in on a tourist visa! Far easier to get a tourist visa as long as you don't turn up in a suit!

PER lounge
Hey guys flying out of PER tomorrow evening at 22:50 in J. On the Forum here it states QR use the Malaysian lounge, yet on the QR and Oneworld websites it states the Qantas lounge... which however already closes at 18:00 - so no help at all.
Was wondering if there is a lounge for the late PER departure, which one it is, and if it’s any good?
Thanks for your help
