AKL-KIX-AKL is $1,124,780,000,000.0, I hope they wave a bit more than the credit card fee:D For that price I want to take the A330 home to keep.

Looks like they have confused the NZ Dollar and the Zimbabwean dollar when doing the conversion - it's an easy mistake to make :)

If you follow the booking through to the payment screen, then the credit card amount shown is correct.
Still a good giggle at Jetstar's expense! |

This looks like the plot from the movie Office Space where they were salami slicing fractions of cents (a la Superman III), but the programmer had decimal place issues. Make sure Milton is not allowed anywhere near the main offices. :D

Jetstar Price Guarantee
"If you find a published internet airfare on another airline that is lower than the lowest available comparable Jetstar fare on Jetstar.com, call us to book with Jetstar and we will beat the other airline's fare by 10%."
Let's see, 10% of NZD$366,470,000,000.00 ^ BD (Yes, I know .... that's not 10% of the other airlines fare, but it might bring home their bug to them!!) |

Ha ha, you have to buy the JQ fare first before making the claim
Vouchers can only be redeemed in one fell swoop and any balance value is not preserved for later. Now what kind of flight on JQ could possibly cost that much so you could use the voucher? :D |

NZ Herald
Customers booking international flights on the cut-price airline Jetstar have been shocked by some sky-high fares - one customer's flight was quoted at more than $1.3 trillion. The airline yesterday said a computer glitch had led to the inflated prices and apologised to anyone surprised to find such costly fares. ... |
It had to happen - but at least they found it.
Jetstar began its New Zealand operations in June, when the airline was troubled with complaints about its arrival times which require passengers to be at the airport at least an hour before flights depart. Oy gevalt. |
